Policies

Midlothian Dermatology specializes in cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. We welcome you as a patient and value the trust that you give us!

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
We are closed on Friday.

Emergencies

We do not provide after hours emergency services.
If you are experiencing an urgent problem during business hours, please call us early in the day.
If you feel you are having an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Appointments

Office visits are by appointment only. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment.
Please allocate 60 minutes for your visit.
Because dermatologists are in high demand, patients usually ‘save up’ and present us with a lengthy list of problems.
We try to be accommodating, and this can lead to us running behind.
We request that one full visit be allocated to the following problems: hair loss, acne, rosacea, new extensive rashes, vulvar complaints and a complete skin examination.

Documents

Patients are required to present a valid insurance card and photo identification at each visit. For new patients, please see the Forms page on this site and bring the New Patient Forms with you to your first appointment.

Children

We do not see children under age six.
New patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
