Stacy Romero is a Physician Assistant who joined Midlothian Dermatology in 2004. Born and raised in California, she graduated from California State University, Chico with a double major in Biology and Psychology and a minor in mathematics and Chemistry. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. While at Chatham University, ranked one of the best universities in the northeast, she received specialized dermatology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a unique appreciation for pigmented lesions at the Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Melanoma Center. As a result of her training and clinical experience, Stacy prides herself on being able to provide high-quality treatment plans while building lasting relationships with her patients. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and participates in the society’s annual conferences.
Like Dr. Bohannon-Grant, she shares a love for skin and for her patients. She has a son in middle school and an outrageous french bulldog. Stacy is often heard saying that growing up in California has provided her with a lasting love for the sun…and practicing dermatology has provided her with an increased appreciation for sun protection.
